What version of the Modrinth App are you using?
0.14.4
What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?
Windows
Describe the bug
When I publish a new version of my mod, and update or install the new version through the app, it is losing the connection to the mod page, and shows as "Unknown". This completely breaks the usability of the app and means future updates are not visible.
Have tried rebuilding the mod package, deleting the version and reuploading, changing the version number, changing the file name. This first happened with the last release only on Fabric. I was able to resolve it by publishing a new version, but only when the underlying file name was different.
Now, after publishing the latest version, both Fabric and NeoForge versions are disconnected and show "Unknown" on the app. Reuploading with a new file name does not resolve this now.

Broken version:
https://modrinth.com/mod/better-happy-ghast-controls/version/26.1.x-1.0.6-neoforge
^ Leaving this version up for reproducing the issue. Other broken files have been deleted.
Working versions:
https://modrinth.com/mod/better-happy-ghast-controls/version/26.1.x-1.0.5-fabric-2
https://modrinth.com/mod/better-happy-ghast-controls/version/26.1.x-1.0.5-neoforge
https://modrinth.com/mod/better-happy-ghast-controls/version/26.1.2-1.0.6-neoforge-2
Steps to reproduce
- Create a Minecraft 26.1.2 NeoForge profile in Modrinth app.
- Browse content and install Better Happy Ghast Controls version 26.1.x-1.0.5-neoforge from the versions tab.
- Go back to profile, observe correct mod link.
- Update mod version to 26.1.x-1.0.6-neoforge - or download it manually from Modrinth website.
- Go back to profile, observe broken "Unknown" mod link.
- Delete broken mod.
- Browse content and install Better Happy Ghast Controls latest version 26.1.x-1.0.6-neoforge-2.
- Observe correct mod link again.
Expected behavior
Mods installed through the app should correctly link back to the project source.
Deleting a mod version and reuploading it should not break the reference to the mod.
Additional context
This issue only started happening after I published version 1.0.5. The original Fabric 1.0.5 version/file was deleted immediately after being created (prior to noticing the issue), and was reuploaded again with the same file shortly after. This seems to have broken the Fabric reference, as the 1.0.5 NeoForge version was still linking fine in the app.
This issue only exists on the Modrinth app, the same files and versions link correctly on the CurseForge app.
I was able to fix the 1.0.5 Fabric version by recreating the Fabric version with a different file name. But now all future versions seem to be broken and changing the file name doesn't resolve it.
Update: Clearing the app cache has fixed the issue for me, so I've deleted the versions that were broken for me.
