Since Nextcloud 33, all applications are hidden behind the app launcher.
For users who frequently switch between Files, Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Mail and Talk, this adds an extra click hundreds of times every day.
Describe the solution you'd like
Please add an optional setting to always show the application icons in the top navigation, similar to previous versions.
This would preserve the new design while allowing users to restore the old workflow if they prefer it.
Additional context
This would be especially useful for self-hosted installations where users regularly switch between multiple apps during daily work.
