Feature Request: Play a sound when the Trash is emptied

Description

I would like to suggest adding an optional sound effect that plays when the Trash has been successfully emptied in Linux Mint.

Currently, emptying the Trash provides visual feedback, but there is no dedicated sound to confirm that the operation has completed.

A short, subtle sound effect would provide additional feedback and make the desktop experience feel more responsive and polished.

Proposed behavior

Play a short sound when the Trash has been successfully emptied.

Play the sound only after the operation has completed successfully, not immediately after the user confirms the action.

Ideally, provide an option to enable or disable this sound in the desktop settings.

Use a sensible default sound that fits the Linux Mint desktop environment.

Motivation

Sound effects for common desktop actions can improve usability by providing an additional form of feedback. This would be a small, optional enhancement that could make everyday file management more satisfying.
