error pushing data when performing "optimize" on a file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run "setfattr -n user.cmd.optimize -v 555:100 
/media/sdfs/san/course4/lun21.img"
2. it gets stuck in dormant state. Note that it works on other files
and thus not always fail.
3. in the sdfs volume log, it shows:

ERROR sdfs  - error pushing data for 
/opt/sdfs/volumes/sdfsv1/files/san/course4/lun21.img
java.lang.NullPointerException

there is no stacktrace available.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

sdfs_fuse_2.8.4.tar.gz
