Better authorization UX?

I wanted to post on some site using 'utterance' but I got this prompt

This has zero info on what "Act on your behalf" means and what you'll be able to do. I'd like to know what all you can do is post to discssions for "Act on your behalf" but given there is no info, AFAICT you can delete all my repos or inject them with malware. I know that is not your goal but that's kind of irrelevant. How can I tell what kinds of acts I'm allowing you to do on my behalf?
