Recommendations on building in 2025?

I've run into lots of compatibility issues with Qt 5.12.12, CMake, and others, and was wondering if you had any suggestions on building this project today. I'm currently trying to build everything using Visual Studio 2022 (can't find a 2019 official version) and the latest version of Qt.

Hi, i am building for Cachy OS Linux, which comes with Qt installed on core. I assume you use Windows by the VS tool, so my suggestion is to update every cmake_minimum_required(VERSION x.xx) where x.xx is for some version that last version of cmake currently don't have support, so my rule to this is to set to 3.10, install the cmake extension for vscode if you are using it, helps a lot.
As for Qt, download the latest Qt version and reference it in the PATH variables. Should be everything you need.
When building i use ninja-build as the generator, which make things much more pleasure to work. I used this commands:

mkdir build
cd build
cmake -G Ninja ..
ninja

Ninja can be installed with winget.
