Support for Java 17 Compatibility in SDK

Hi Infisical Team 👋,

First of all, thank you for the great work on this SDK!

We are currently integrating Infisical into our Java-based application, which runs on Java 17 (LTS). However, I noticed that the latest SDK version (e.g., 3.0.2) is compiled with:

<maven.compiler.release>21</maven.compiler.release>
<java.version>21</java.version

This results in bytecode compiled for Java 21, which unfortunately cannot run on Java 17 due to class version incompatibility.

Request:
Could you please provide a version of the SDK that is compiled with Java 17 (using <maven.compiler.release>17</maven.compiler.release>) or ensure Java 17 compatibility in upcoming releases?

Since Java 17 is an LTS version and widely adopted in enterprise environments, this would help make the SDK more accessible and flexible.

Also requesting this please. Simply changing the versions to 17 does not work from what I can tell.

Solution

This is the jar file I compiled with java 17, along with a few minor fixes:-

It should work in normal circumstances.

You can test this in your local machine and use it, but not recommend for production.

Running locally

To test this in your local machine put the jar in a folder similar to this folder :-
C:\Users\DELL\.m2\repository\com\infisical\sdk\3.0.0\sdk-3.0.0.jar

.m2/repository is important and directory should already exist
(Replace the jar file it it already exists)

And make sure the version is 3.0.0.

If using Gradle and not maven you need to add mavenLocal() in you build.gradle file like this :=>

repositories {
    mavenLocal()     // <== This allows Gradle to use your local JAR from ~/.m2/repository
    mavenCentral()
}

Maven does it automatically.

Basically getFirst() => get(0)

3) Provided Enviroment variables

Envs were provided which was required by this file :
src\test\java\com\infisical\sdk\util\EnvironmentVariables.java

Thank you for providing the solution, I really appreciate your efforts. However, I was looking for an official release that supports Java 17, so it can be safely used in production code and help reduce the need for manual handling of REST APIs.
