[Feature]: The ability to either self-host or store all files locally

What would you like?

I'd love for there to be an option to either self-host parts, or all of my data in the app, or to have it all stored locally, not just the local markdown section.

What problem does it solve?

It could help people save money if they are able to self-host their data, and it provides more freedom as to how a person's data is stored.
