I was wondering what the rationale was behind stripping timings out |

i don't think everyone wants timings on their server, and we also shouldn't be hiding this behind a config option or anything. as said, if anything, they should just use spark which is WAY better anyways. |

I agree it seems like modern Paper is moving towards bundling spark instead of timings. Maybe we could do something similar? |
