High idle CPU usage (~17%) on Docker Swarm (ARM64) #253
Thanks for reporting. No, this is not an expected behaviour. In AMD64 architecture, the app on idle uses almost no CPU. I wonder if this issue is uniquely ARM64 related.
The issue you linked is for an older version of nextjs, TaskTrove image uses a newer nextj 16 so it shouldn't run into the same issue.
Is this expected behavior for the current architecture? No
Are there any configuration options to reduce idle CPU usage? No
Would switching to standalone output mode help? Already on standalone
Is TaskTrove the only app that is using high CPU, are most other contaienrs idle at minimal CPU in comparison?
If so, a few things you can try:
follow the development steps to run the dev server and check if it has the same issue. dev server will be easier to troubleshoot
try using an older image version to check if it has the same issue.
