Summary

• Add native XMind conversion for modern content.json and XMind 8 content.xml.
• Render sheets, topic outlines, and plain-text notes as Markdown.
• Validate malformed, empty, encrypted, and oversized content entries.
• Add no runtime dependencies; XMind is a lightweight, archive-based document format that maps directly to MarkItDown Markdown output.

Testing

• pre-commit run --all-files
• hatch test --python 3.13 -k xmind_converter — 9 passed.
• hatch test --python 3.13 — 900 passed, 14 skipped; one unrelated audio-transcription test requires locally installed ffprobe.
