   quick-script for 😈 hax0rs: use ADIOS' bp2h5 tool (cumbersome to compile, needs hdf5 dependency) and then run the HDF5 validator script (gnihihi)

   Nope. ADIOS1 is end-of-life and ADIOS2 is currently implemented in openPMD-api only.

   I think there are bp2h5 converters in ADIOS2 again, as well as a h5 transport, which we could use to validate files. Until then, the standard and API are the source of truth.

   I started putting together an adios2 patch using Codeium::WindSurf. Let me know how I can contribute that to the 1.1.X branch.
